What do the children do?

The children enjoy a wide range of activities including arts and crafts, sport, games and imaginative play, with lots of encouragement for their own self chosen activities. Children also have access to a huge trampoline, books, puzzles, board games, television and DVD's, musical equipment and computer.

The after-school club is open during school term-time only.

Parents can request a snack and/or a home meal to be provided at an additional cost.

We are OFSTED registered.

We have a walking bus to collect children from the local school.

If needed Scamps can provide additional help with setting up a quiet workstation to help with homework.

The playworkers are actively involved in helping the children to make friends and get along well together. The staff ratio is one adult to eight children, with a higher staff ratio for outings. Weekly staff meetings ensure that the program of activities and the needs of the children are met.

Some of the activities done include - drawing, painting, reading, writing, ball games, team games, board games, clay modelling, making collages and all kinds of arts, crafts and cooking.
