Welcome to our Pre-School. We are part of a day nursery set in a quiet rural village. Come and share the exciting experiences, challenges and friendly atmosphere provided within a nurturing environment for every child and their family. We are very adaptable and aim to meet the needs of every child. We work on building positive relationships while working in partnership with parents and carers.

We celebrate the children's work by displaying it around the Pre-School which can then be shared with their parents, carers and other children and adults within the setting. This helps to boost a child's self-esteem and build their self-confidence. The bright and colourful displays are all linked to the topics which are based on the children's interests. We aim to provide enjoyable and interesting experiences both indoors and outdoors which are key to creating a positive attitude to learning. We promote British Values throughout our planning and encourage all the children to become independent learners while accessing all areas of the Early Years curriculum.

Every child will be given a key person on their first day who will take primary responsibility for the child and their family. They will help them to settle in and build relationships which will enable the child to develop and grow in confidence. Parents are welcome to talk to the staff at any time. Observations and photos are sent to parents once a month to enable them to keep up to date with their child's progress, this enables parents to share in their child's development and make comments on a regular basis. We work in partnership with many external agencies to ensure that every child gets the best possible start before school. We have strong links to the local schools which makes the transition to the reception class a much smoother one.

We maintain a high standard of care and nursery education provided by qualified and competent staff which is tailored to your child's individual needs and interests. A child's safety and happiness are of utmost importance.
