In 2017 Scamps voiced their concern alongside other providers, this was done via the news, petitions and also in parliament. What a lot of parents do not realise is that Sue along with other providers and childcare associates are still campaigning in parliament to get the funding crisis listened to from both parents and providers. Please support this by signing the petition so we can get our mutual concerns heard. As of the time posting the petition has gained 7,512 signatures. https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/276290?fbclid=IwAR3NebzPsmChHeoIV5B08KAAVwCe6lmHxayz8GU7LfRECKhhoJ9Zzz2KFZo For the full article for this video click the link below: https://www.itv.com/news/2017-08-10/itv-news-survey-reveals-many-working-parents-could-miss-out-on-30-hours-free-childcare/ you can also find out some more info at: http://www.champagnenurseries.com/

At Scamps, we are passionate and committed to providing the children in our care with outstanding learning opportunities. Our aim is to enrich every child's nursery experience and create an environment where they are encouraged to succeed and be the best they can be. Cultural capital is about preparing children with the knowledge and skills for what comes next. We realise the exploration of new skills and experiences helps to nurture resilience, curiosity and creativity. Ultimately, this leads to the growth of new forms of cultural capital that makes a difference in individual mindsets and shapes the future. The intent of our activities is to help our children experience the awe and wonder of the world in which they live. This is so important here at Scamps because what children learn in their formative years with us will stay with them forever.
