Scamps Fees & Funding Policy
Scamps is open 51 weeks of the year. We are closed on all Bank Holidays between Christmas and New Year.
- Fees are payable throughout the year, including Bank Holidays, INSET days and during periods of sickness and holidays
- We encourage early application to secure your place
- We are registered to accept the Tax-Free Childcare
- Scamps offers fully funded 15 and 30 hour childcare places

Please note that no more than ten hours can be claimed in any one day.
A settling fee is payable to Scamps on registration, which is non-refundable unless a funded only place is taken.
Because of the balancing act between work and family, we offer the option to stretch the funding across 51
weeks of the year instead of the standard 38 weeks. We are closed between Christmas and New Year.
HELPFUL POINTS TO BE AWARE OF:
- Funding rates are updated in April every year (countries new financial year)
- Please be aware that the total amount of hours is calculated from September to the 31st August
- If your child joins partway through the academic year, the remaining hours will be stretched across the time they attend, so weekly amounts may differ slightly
- Limited term time places available
- Meals are booked and charged as requested (Please let us know if any of these need to be credited)
- Stretched hours; we will endeavour to do this wherever possible, but a minimum of two sessions are required and this will not be offered if you are at split settings
- Being flexible, Scamps currently has 150 variations of sessions that parents can use falling under private/combined/funded
- The funded element is split evenly over the days you attend (these are overlaid onto the session) to a maximum of 10 hours a day in accordance with current regulations
- Please ensure that nappies, wipes and suncream are sent in with your child as Scamps do not want to have to charge any consumable extras
- Please let us know if any of your circumstances change i.e. medical, hardship, family bereavement etc as we would like to support you (please just talk to us)

Scamps cannot legally offer a funded place until your childs eligibility is confirmed, initially by HMRC and then secondly by Oxfordshire County Council
